Blades of Light

It seems I forgot to mention here that we killed Deathwing last thursday. I'm sure anyone who's been in-game since then knows anyway, because everyone reads the guild message of the day, right?

So, yes, BoL has taken down this expansion's Big Bad. All that remains is to take down the bigger, badder version at the end of heroic mode DS. The plan is to begin wiping clearing our way through this content in the next raid lock.

A big congrats to Ksiya for completing the many stages of the [Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest] quest chain. The final step was killing Rag (with a slight twist added to the regular fight) last night. 

Thanks to all those who helped in Firelands throughout tier 12, as well as those who carried on raiding the 'old content' just a little bit longer so that Ksi could finish off the legendary.

TL;DR - Guildies can now go and buy [Lil' Tarecgosa] from the local Guild Vendor. (It's 1500g, but is BoA, so you can pass it along between your alts.)

With 9 combinations remaining for the Stay Classy achievement, I have decided that the guild will offer a modest bounty to incentivize those crazy altaholics to fill out the missing combos. Details here.

Progress kills really have become routine procedures around here recently. To milk the metaphor, a highly trained crew of guildies carried out the arduous operation of overcoming Deathwing's Spine with surgical precision. Although there were a few slightly unsuccessful warm-up attempts, and I seem to have received a letter from his lawyer containing phrases like suing for malpractice...

In any case, congrats to those who expended the time and energy for this one. I guess I could say *puts on sunglasses* you really put your backs into it.

Someone (no idea who, though I guess I could check through individual suspects' kill stats on armory when I'm at a loose end) has been working hard in the pest control realm. Crittergeddon is upon us - that's 100,000 critter kills. I can only imagine the abuse the keyboard took...

Speaking of abuse, I think I forgot to post that Corri got us It All Really Adds Up a little while back. Of course, Mugul put in Alot of hard work on that one too ;)

Just a quick note to say that a guild team took down Warmaster Blackhorn last night. 6/8 in the second week of the patch; not bad at all.

Just Deathwing to go. Twice...

A guild team took down Ultraxion last night, bringing us to 5/8 in DS. That's a realm 35th kill for Mugul, who has been obsessing with the numbers lately ;)

An impressive first night in Dragon Soul saw a guild team taking down four bosses - Morchok, Zon'ozz, Yor'sahj, and Hagara. Being only the first night of the new patch, we're sitting at an all time high of 14 on WoWProgress for the guild. it will be very interesting to see how far BoL can push in this first week.

Thanks to those who put in the effort tonight to return to the old TBC and WLK instances to help fill in some guild achievements we were missing. Guild Outland Dungeon Hero is now complete and guildies are still working on Guild Northrend Dungeon Hero as I type.
